Product Description

Złoty Cepelin – the golden zeppelin – is an extraordinary Polish zucchini variety that brings colour to the bed and the plate. What makes Złoty Cepelin special? The luminous golden-yellow, cylindrical fruits with smooth skin. Yellow zucchini are not just pretty: they stay slightly firmer than green ones when cooked, are instantly recognisable on the plate, and turn mixed vegetable pans and grill platters into a visual event. Combined with a green variety, you harvest in two colours. Add a trait that heavy harvesters love: the more often the fruits are picked, the more new flowers and fruits the plant produces. Consistent picking – ideally young at 15–20 cm – is rewarded directly with fresh supply. This early variety is heat-loving and prefers wind-sheltered sites with loose, well-drained soil. Start indoors from mid-April or sow directly from mid-May after the last frost. In the kitchen, Złoty Cepelin is a multi-talent: perfect for frying, steaming, grilling, pickling or eating fresh – and as yellow zoodles a real eye-catcher. Who is this variety for? Anyone who wants variety in the zucchini bed, and kitchens where the eye eats too.
