Product Description

Goldkrone is an exceptionally productive dill variety for anyone who wants one thing above all: fresh, tender dill leaves for as long as possible. What makes Goldkrone special? This variety bolts remarkably late, meaning it flowers very late in the season. That is the key trait in dill: as long as the plant is not flowering, it keeps producing aromatic foliage. While standard dill often runs to flower within a few weeks, Goldkrone delivers strong, dark green leaves with full flavour for much longer. Growing it is as easy as it gets: sow directly into the bed, germination takes place at 15–20 °C, and the plant is undemanding about soil. Goldkrone thrives outdoors, in the greenhouse or in pots on the balcony and windowsill – with succession sowing almost year-round. Freshly harvested dill is a little nutrient package: rich in vitamin C, B vitamins, potassium and iron. It is the classic partner for cucumber salad, fish, potatoes, quark and pickling. Who is this variety for? Anyone who uses fresh dill regularly and is tired of constant resowing – from beginners to self-sufficient gardeners. Goldkrone is a rare variety that we import directly in small batches.
