Product Description

Moss Curled 2 is the classic curly parsley: dark green, densely feathered and indispensable in any kitchen – as a seasoning as well as a decorative garnish. What makes Moss Curled 2 special? Its stability. The tightly curled leaves keep their structure and – more importantly – their aroma even after drying or freezing. That makes it the ideal variety for building up a winter supply of parsley. It is also remarkably flexible to grow: as a spring and summer crop it is ready in 80–90 days, while for a late autumn harvest you allow 150–180 days. Parsley is biennial and winter-hardy – plants overwintered in the bed provide the very first fresh harvest of the year in early spring. Good to know: like all parsley, Moss Curled 2 germinates slowly (3–4 weeks). Soaking the seeds overnight helps. It thrives best in humus-rich sandy loam with even moisture. Who is this variety for? Anyone who wants parsley all year round – fresh in summer, dried and frozen in winter. The decorative variety also looks great in balcony boxes.
